Types of Portable Heaters

Are you interested in renting a portable heater? We have three different types of portable heaters from which to choose – Direct Fired Heater, Indirect Fired Heater, and Electric Heater. Allow us to explain how each work and their benefits:

Direct Fired Heater Rental Options

Direct fired heaters use natural gas, propane, or fuel oil to operate. Air passes through a flame creating heat. Because all the fuel is converted to heat, your operating costs are much lower. Although constant supervision is not necessary, it must be placed in an area with ventilation to ensure safety.

Indirect Fired Heater Rental Options

Indirect fired heaters are normally used in smaller spaces due to the fact that CO2 is not released. Using fuel such as natural gas, propane, or fuel oil, indirect fired heaters produce clean and dry air. Unlike direct fired heaters, this type of heater does not push air through the flame. Most of the time, indirect fired heaters are used outside or in a ducted indoor area.

Electric Heater Rental Options

If flames make you uncomfortable, an electric heater would be best for you! Electric heaters boast operational efficiency and mobility. This type of heater is the safest and cleanest heater available.
