Types of Dehumidifiers We Offer

Dehumidification systems help control excess condensation. If left untreated, it results in mold and mildew growth in the building’s central AC system, carpet, or walls, leading to foul odors and poor air quality. We carry Low Grain Refrigeration (LGRs), which are an excellent option for areas with extremely high moisture levels. LGRs add an extra dehumidification step by maintaining a cool temperature inside the machine’s moisture-filled area, so that moisture can be more efficiently removed from the air passing through it.

In addition, we carry desiccant dehumidifiers that operate in a slightly different way. These machines have a wheel in the center containing silica gel that attracts moisture as air is blown through. Desiccant dehumidifiers work better in cooler temperatures and are quieter than traditional compressor-powered dehumidifiers. Portable Air and Power’s team will engineer a system using the equipment that works best for your needs.

Types of Air Movers We Offer

Our air movers increase air circulation in a space, increase water evaporation, decrease drying time, and act as a cleaning agent to remove chemicals and odors from the air. Our air scrubbers clean the air by passing it through a filter. Doing so removes airborne contaminants resulting in cleaner air with no odor. Mold, allergens, and other air pollutants can cause health issues resulting in respiratory problems.

Portable Air and Power also carries air handlers for your project’s needs. Air handlers are responsible for maintaining air circulation in a space and operate in conjunction with your HVAC system. In addition, we keep an inventory of power breezers that are strategically designed to keep you cool. Our power breezers have misting capabilities and a 100-gallon tank, so you don’t have to worry about refilling.
